Registered Nurse(RN)

Location: Goldsboro, North Carolina

Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM | Every Other Weekend

Employment Type: Full-Time

Contract: 16-week contract position; contract renewal upon successful completion of the contract.

Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric / Behavioral Health Facility

Compensation: $50.00-$52.00 per hour | Full Benefits Available

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and mental health status.
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses.
• Provide therapeutic nursing interventions, crisis intervention, and individualized patient support.
• Observe, assess, and document changes in patient conditions and behaviors.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatric providers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Support patient safety through effective communication, de-escalation techniques, and adherence to facility protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medication management, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

• Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a structured inpatient behavioral health environment.
• Ability to respond calmly and professionally to behavioral or medical emergencies.
• Previous psychiatric nursing or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Availability to work 12-hour day shifts, including every other weekend.
