Occupational Therapist (OT)

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate students, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide occupational therapy services designed to support functional skills, independence, and successful participation in the educational environment. The OT will collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary team members while completing all required documentation and billing associated with services provided.

• Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to identify student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on each student's needs and educational objectives.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions designed to improve functional skills, independence, activities of daily living, and participation in the school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate services and support student progress.
• Participate in student planning and educational team meetings as appropriate.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions and goals as needed.
• Complete required documentation and billing accurately and in accordance with district, contract, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide education and training to families, school staff, and other professionals as appropriate.
• Provide direction and supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and rehabilitation aides as needed and permitted under applicable state and federal requirements.
• Maintain therapy areas and equipment in a safe, sanitary, and organized condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Graduation from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current, active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license.
• Current NBCOT certification.
• Ability to meet applicable state, federal, professional, and district requirements.

• At least one year of experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist.
• Previous school-based or pediatric occupational therapy experience.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams.
• Experience developing and implementing individualized student goals and interventions.

• Consistent school-based schedule.
• Salary position $65,000.00
