Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) - School Based

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete FBAs in accordance with Washington State school and clinical guidelines.
  • Create evidence-based BIPs aligned with student IEPs or client treatment goals.
  • Implement ABA-based instructional programs targeting communication, adaptive skills, and social-emotional development.
  • Train and supervise RBTs, para-educators, and behavior technicians to ensure fidelity and compliance with BACB standards.
  • Establish data systems, analyze trends, and adjust interventions based on data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with teachers, school psychologists, SLPs, OTs, and families to ensure consistent implementation across environments.
  • Follow BACB Ethics Code, Washington State education regulations, and district/agency policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing.
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing ABA-based interventions.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work across diverse school or clinical environments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Washington public schools or early-intervention programs.
  • Familiarity with Washington State IEP processes and MTSS/FBT frameworks.
  • Prior supervision of RBTs or paraeducators.
  • Experience supporting students with autism, developmental disabilities, or significant behavioral needs.
